Cookie Policy
Last updated: January 15, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how Spectrumar S.R.L. ("Spectrumar") uses them on the spectrumar.com website, and how you can manage your preferences. We implement Google Consent Mode v2 to ensure your choice is respected at all times.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences over a period of time, so you don't have to reconfigure them each time you return.
2. Types of cookies we use
Necessary cookies: essential for the site to function properly. They include consent management and basic site functionality. These cannot be disabled. Analytics cookies: allow us to understand how you interact with the site, what pages you visit, and how you arrived. We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for this purpose, which is only activated if you give your consent. Marketing cookies: used to show relevant ads and measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. They include Google Ads cookies, which are only activated with your express consent.
3. Google Consent Mode v2
We implement Google Consent Mode v2, a system that manages the behavior of Google tags (Analytics and Ads) according to your consent preferences. By default, all analytics and marketing cookies are denied. They are only activated if you choose to accept them. This means: ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, and analytics_storage are in 'denied' state until you give consent; when you accept cookies, we update the consent state via gtag('consent', 'update', ...); your preference is saved in localStorage and reapplied on future visits.
4. How to manage your cookies
When you first visit our site, you'll see a cookie banner where you can: accept all cookies; reject non-essential cookies; customize your preferences by category. You can also change your preferences at any time by clicking 'Cookie preferences' in the site footer. Additionally, most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies from their settings.
5. Third-party cookies
We use Google services (Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads) that may install third-party cookies on your device. These cookies are governed by Google's privacy policies. We recommend consulting Google's Privacy Policy for more information on how they manage data.
6. Retention period
Necessary cookies are maintained during your browsing session or as needed for site functionality. Analytics and marketing cookies have a variable duration depending on the provider, generally between 30 days and 24 months. Your consent preference is stored in localStorage without an expiration date, but can be removed by clearing browser data.
7. Updates to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the technologies we use or applicable legislation. The date of the last update appears at the beginning of this document.
